Ever
have one of those days? Or maybe even weeks? Most
of us do.
And
when you’re in the middle of it, when you're stressed out of your mind,
have you noticed that things tend to go from bad to
worse? Why is that?
Here
are some of the answers, but first, you probably wonder about this:
Who
the heck am I and why am I talking to you about how to make yourself
feel better?
"I've been there!"
As
it says right at the top of this letter, my name is Elisabeth Kuhn.
And I have plenty of experience with feeling so stressed out
I thought I was going to explode, or melt, or something, but obviously, I'm still here, so I have also learned to pull
myself back out.
Yes, I have been under extreme stress for months and months, and in fact years and years, and have
learned how to a) make it through that stress in one piece and b) calm
myself down enough in the middle of it that I could function again,
even if sometimes just marginally.
"I made it through the stress in one piece."
"I learned to calm
myself down enough to function again."
"Let me show YOU how to do the same."
Now here's another thing they
say: "When it rains, it pours." And you know they don't say
that for nothing. You know that's really how it works.
I could tell from simple observation: Whenever I
started the day feeling bad, things went downhill from there.
I bet you have noticed the same thing.
"When it rains, it pours."
The reverse was true as well.
When I felt good, things got better and better.
That's why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
And
now, I finally understand why it works that way.
That's because I discovered the Law of Attraction. And I'm
sure you have too. It was really hard to miss "The Secret,"
wasn't it?
Now we all know just how important it is to feel
good. I myself make a conscious effort to keep my vibrations
as high as possible at all times. Well, most of the time. I'm
human ;-)
"Feeling good really makes a big
difference."
But
even before I learned about the Law of Attraction, I learned to pull
myself out of those moods. I had to. I probably
wouldn't be around anymore if I hadn't.
What
made my life so stressful? Lots of things.
I do have to admit that some of
it was self-inflicted. Nobody MADE me move from Germany to
California all by myself and become a foreign graduate student.
I had expected paradise, but life as a grad student was a
whole lot tougher than I had expected. And way more expensive
too.
There was plenty to make me feel
discouraged, and I also had regular panic attacks over how to pay all
that out-of-state tuition, not to mention tests and too many reading
assignments. There were many times I thought I wouldn't make
it.
"I thought I wouldn't make it."
That's when my conscious
learning started. How to keep going when the going got so
rough I wanted to give up. How to calm myself down enough to
do all the work I needed to do.
And then I got a job, and not
any job, but my dream job. I became a college professor.
Stress-wise, though, it felt like I had gone from the frying
pan into the fire. Lots more practice for my new-found
skills.
But the biggest challenge came
when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I knew this was a
wake-up call. Not only did I need to cope with stress enough
to "function." I had to learn how to be happy -- at will.
Or just about anyway.
"Breast Cancer was the ultimate wake-up
call"
I discovered that my life
actually depended on my ability to pull myself out of the dumps.
So I learned fast.
What does this have to do with you?
Well... Those
techniques and skills have served me very well, and I would like to share them
with you because I just know they will work for you too.
Is this for YOU?
Only if you:
If you ever have one of those
days, you will benefit.
If you're ever stressed, you
will benefit.
If you
ever feel overwhelmed by your to-do lists, you will benefit.
If you've
ever just wanted to feel better, you will benefit.
If you've
ever wanted to find a way to calm down, you will benefit.
If you've
ever wished you could make yourself feel happier,
YOU will benefit.
And there's an added bonus for
using my de-stressing strategies:
The Law of Attraction!
If we feel good, more good will
come to us. If we feel bad, or gripe, whine, or worry,
circumstances will arrive to justify our worries.
Now who would want THAT?
So here's your chance to
discover how to make yourself feel better at will. How to
make yourself more resistant to stress and frustration.
I'm going to put a toolbox full
of strategies at your fingertips that will help you manage your moods
like you've never thought possible.
You too can make yourself feel
better within minutes (with some of the techniques) and blues-proof
yourself with some of the "deeper" techniques that have more long-term
cumulative effects.
